The blade of the Zero Nova skate is the best we can make. Over the years, we have tested many metals, and now we have found the right one. The blade is easy to sharpen and shape. In our search for optimal steel hardness, we settled on 54 HRC. The shape of the blade has been carefully designed with skating and shaping in mind. The blade has scalable curves and height according to size, allowing profiling to not necessarily be needed. (Blade info table, picture 2). The thickness of the blade is 2.9 mm, making replacement really easy.
The blade is suitable for new Fly plastics.
The blade model is currently used by HIFK, Jokerit, Ässät, and many other professional players. Feedback has been positive, and words of praise have not been reserved.
Mirror blades are polished to a mirror shine.
